Happy Yearbooking!

Greetings from M5, my name is Aleksa and I am leading the M5 Yearbook project this year.  You are hereby formally officially, seriously, invited to participate in the 2026 M5 yearbook.  Please join us in creating this compelling snapshot of our community.

To give you an idea of what we have in mind we have created some sample yearbook pages. Take a look at these.  Each person gets a full two page spread. Here's one example, here's another example. If you participate, you’ll be filling out a form and uploading some photos but all of the imagery regarding the places and books and places you mention we’re gonna take care of with this secret resource called the internet.  In other words we will be laying out your pages using the information that you provide. We are not guaranteeing that we will have the time to ask you to greenlight the page. We’re asking you to trust us to make you look good, don’t worry about that.

The PDF version of the yearbook will be free or almost free to download while the printed version will be quite expensive (estimated at $200-$300), like a collector's item. When the yearbook is completed you will be sent the private link to the print-on-demand site.

Again, It is expected that each of you who submits a reasonably complete response will receive a two-page spread (two facing pages) in the book. We want the responses to tell us about you as an individual, since we want to help you tell your unique story; the more meaningful the better. Of course, you may skip any questions you have no interest in answering.  We will add design elements to almost all of the pages, including the pages with your responses. For example, if you list the 1996 Matilda film as a favorite you might find that we add one or more Matilda images to your pages. We are asking you to trust us to interpret your responses in good faith. We ask that you fill out the yearbook form before April in order for us to finish the design in a timely manner.

Be remembered as a part of the community and as someone who had a life.
