Ryder’s Fuzz Pedal
Ryder loves playing guitar, so he decided to make a fuzz petal on Makerday last weekend. He decides to start with an existing schematic that he found online to get familiar with the circuit and make changes later.
He explained to me that the fuzz pedal takes signal from the guitar, amplifies it with a transistor, and then a specific diode 1N914 clips the signal into square waves. He also ordered a 0.004uF capacitor for this circuit.
This is what his project looks like right now. He plans to move everything on to a protoboard and 3D print an enclosure for it so it looks like an actual pedal after getting the circuit to work.
