SDP & Project Night Updates
After nearly a semester of testing, breaking, and fixing the projects we set out to revive, we finally have our first working demo showcased at this past weekend’s Circuits & Code.
Akshat’s all-terrain buggy now sits out front of M5, and is fully functional. Some caveats still exist in the form of noisy power traces and trouble pushing the nearly 10 amps drawn by the six motors, but it works nonetheless.
The events at M5 this weekend were a great opportunity to speak to some of the original creators of these projects, and notably, we have some direction on where to move forward with the repeating errors on the Magichess board.
We’re still waiting on parts to arrive for the Open Assist lamp, and the Go board is missing elusive source code and a Jetson Nano needed for operation.
