Pinball Machine!

This past weekend, me and Alex Reineke participated in Hack(Her) 413! Together we made a Pinball Machine!

Our project is powered by a pico, limit switch sensors, a SPI based display and LEDs!

Initially, since I didn’t have the correct display, I planned to wire a 7-segment display using the CD4511 chip (found at M5) with the pico. This was a fun experience as I didn’t have previous experience working with ICs.

I worked with this helpful website: https://www.build-electronic-circuits.com/4000-series-integrated-circuits/ic-4511/ alongside the datasheet!

I ran into several issues with wiring, logic, and code but luckily Niranjan was around to help debug!

While this version didn’t make it to the final product, it was a fun learning experience!
